With bluegrass in their DNA, brothers Ronnie and Rob McCoury push the genre forward in the tradition of their legendary father, Del McCoury. Fiddler Jason Carter, bassist Alan Bartram, and guitarist Cody Kilby joined the brothers in 2009 to form the Travelin’ McCourys. Each member is an International Bluegrass Music Association award-winning musician; Ronnie was awarded IBMA. The band released their self-titled debut album in May 2018. The 2019 Southern Sound Series is presented by Rock Hill Coca-Cola and supported by stage sponsor Founders Federal Credit Union.
